旧約聖書のホセア書の第１章は以下のようなことが書かれています。
Chapter 1 of the Book of Hosea in the Old Testament goes as follows:
「「然るに、イスラエルの民は計ることも数えることもできない海岸の砂のようになるであろう。ある所では「異端の民」、ある所では「神の民」と称されるであろう。ユダ王国の民とイスラエル王国の民が手を結び、彼らを導く者に彼らの命運を任せきって表に現れたとき、（繁栄を謳歌する）古代パレスチナの栄光の日々を送ることになるであろう。」」
““Yet the Israelites will be like the sand on the seashore, which cannot be measured or counted. In the place where it was said to them, “You are not my people,” they will be called “children of the living God.” The people of Juda and the people of Israel will come together; they will appoint one leader and will come up out of the land, for great will be the day of Jezreel.””
それぞれの呼び方で旧約聖書の神を崇め、それぞれの解釈で同じ神の教えを説くイスラム教、キリスト教、ユダヤ教の方々ですが、ユダヤ教の方々は未だメシアはこの世界に到来されていないと考え、今もなおその日を待ち続けておられるようです。
As Jewish people, Christians, and Muslims call God of the Old Testament differently and interpret God’s words differently, Jewish people think that Messiah has not arrived yet and still wait for Messiah’s arrival.
私見では、この「メシアの到来」は個々人の意識の中で起きる「真我の目覚めが起きやすくなる時代の到来」を表わしているのだと考えています。
In my opinion, “Messiah’s arrival” means “the arrival of the times each and every individual can easily be awakened and become aware of one’s true self”.
