Sino Centrism is the belief that Chinese Empire is the center of the world, and its emperor is the emperor of the world.
この考え方に則れば、全世界の他のすべての国々は単なる中華帝国の属国か中華帝国からとても遠く離れた未開の国ということになります。
According to this belief, all other countries in the whole world are either mere tributaries of Chinese Empire or some undeveloped countries so far away from the empire.
よって、当時中国と正式な外交関係を持つ国は必然的に中国の属国であるということを意味していました。
