そして、同年に幕府を江戸に開き、江戸時代が幕を開けました。

ちなみに、1573年に室町幕府が滅んでから江戸幕府が開かれるまでの30年間は「安土桃山時代」と呼ばれています。

初代将軍となった2年後に徳川家康は子の徳川秀忠を2代将軍としましたが、そのまま幕府の実権は握り続けました。
