Gokenin gradually got used to Yuan’s troop’s fighting style, and Samurai’s archery-on-horseback attacks, brave and quick surging charges, and night raids on their camps started working effectively against them.
想定していた戦闘期間を優に過ぎても武士が一向に降伏する様子を見せないため、元の軍は撤退を余儀なくされました。
Since Samurai didn’t show any sigh of surrendering after fighting way much longer than they anticipated, Yuan’s troop ended up having to retreat.
こうして文永の役が終わると、御家人はすぐに元の武器や戦術につき徹底的に研究しました。
